AWS Learning Session for Software Engineering Students at the University of Kelaniya
AWS learning session at the University of Kelaniya covering AWS Global Infrastructure and building cloud applications with AWS Amplify

Our company recently conducted an engaging AWS learning session for Software Engineering students at the University of Kelaniya, focusing on practical cloud concepts and real-world AWS usage.
The session covered AWS Global Infrastructure, where students learned how AWS supports cloud applications through regions, availability zones, edge locations, and globally distributed infrastructure. The session was led by Enlear’s Engineering Manager, Mr. Chameera Dulanga, who shared insights into how global cloud infrastructure supports scalability, reliability, and performance in modern software systems.
As part of the session, Enlear Software Engineers Ashan Dilsara and Thisara Senarathna conducted a practical demo and quiz on “Building a Cloud Application with AWS Amplify.” The demo helped students understand how AWS Amplify can be used to build, deploy, and manage cloud-enabled applications more efficiently.
The interactive quiz encouraged participation and gave students an opportunity to test their understanding of AWS concepts discussed during the session.
This session was part of Enlear’s ongoing effort to share practical cloud knowledge with future software engineers and support university-level learning through real industry experience.
We would like to thank the University of Kelaniya and all participating students for their enthusiasm, engagement, and active participation throughout the session.
